Below is the summation of my work for this SCADPro class with Harbour Picture Company

01/18/23

Initial test

This is the very first test of the summoning of the icebreaker to which I have been assigned. I used pyrosourcespread as the driver for the spawning of particles and the boolean of the object for the reverse disintegration feeling.

01/23/23

Second Iterations

This is the second set of iterations of the effect with two different camera angles to display the effect. A pyro element was added to give a cool feeling like ice fumes.

Keentools test

Originally this was our main actor, however, complications arrived and we decided to use his pictures as a test for keentools.

Third iteration

This is the third iteration with the actual model of the icebreaker included. This is without the fumes as well.

Main actress Keentools & Fourth Iteration

This is the fourth iteration with the actual model of the icebreaker included. This is without the fumes as well.

Also, this is the model of our main actress' head for the transformation effect.

Render v002

This is the second redshift render of the effect. The example shown does not have the background and is solely the effect. There is a slight problem with a couple of frames of the effect that I need to get handled but on the whole, it is looking better. Also, there was a problem with the render of the aovs that needs to be fixed.

03/07/23

Render v005

This is the fifth redshift render of the effect. And the third most significant version of changes. 

A CG table has been added and the image has been cropped in both to the mentors' suggestions. The AOVs are working appropriately and are being used for the betterment of the composite. Also, a small glow has been added to the hands when the particles pass by them.

03/12/23

Render v007

This is the seventh redshift render of the effect. And the last most significant version of changes. 

The glow has been elevated, and the grading of the CG has been updated  to better comp into the shot.
